Reducing Waste is Better Than Recycling!

Save 20¢ when you use Green2Go containers!

When you use a disposable container you are adding to the waste stream. Save a disposable container from the waste stream and become a UBC Zero Waste hero.

0

Disposable containers enter the waste stream at UBC each year. That’s worth over $85,000!

Where Can I Participate?

Bring your Green2Go bowl or clamshell container to any of our food service locations.

How Do I Get Started?

Exchange

Swap your carabiner clip* for a Green2Go container (soup bowl or clamshell) when you place an order at any participating location.

Reduce and Save

Save 20¢ off your meal and save a single-use item from becoming waste.

One For One

After you've eaten, exchange your container for a fresh one.

Repeat!

You're a super hero.

*All residence students on a mandatory meal plan will receive a branded carabiner upon check-in.

Not On A Mandatory Meal Plan ?

Sign up for our Green2Go program in person at any food service location.

Pay a $5 refundable deposit for a carabiner and you are good to go!
